Sweet Dream House Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit, no kill, all volunteer, all breed animal rescue. Our shelter is staffed and run entirely by volunteers. We also utilize a network of foster homes for pets ready for adoption.
Our mission is to rescue homeless and abandoned animals, to spay/neuter, vaccinate and provide any needed medical care until they are adopted into loving homes. We are often the rescue of last resort, waiting until other rescues select from the euthanasia lists to rescue those that are not selected.
Dog Camp Movie visits Sweet Dream House Rescue
We dropped by an adoption event near Cincinnati organized by Sweet Dream House Rescue while on location for one of our shoots for our documentary. Carmen and the entire volunteer staff are doing amazing work. Please reach out to them at dreamhouserescue.org. Enjoy!Posted by Dog Camp on Thursday, 13 August 2015
Sweet Dream House Rescue is proud to have recently received a $1,000 grant from the PETFINDER FOUNDATION to help a dog named Hopeful (also called 'Hope'). Hope was injured in West Virginia and both her back legs were broken. In West Virginia, the vets were able to repair one leg, but the other leg was too badly damaged for that vet to fix. Our rescue had Hope transferred to Noah's Ark Animal Clinic of Colerain where a canine orthopedic surgeon was able to repair Hope's other leg! Hope is currently in a foster home and receiving physical therapy.
